Tarot has many personalities. Many believe that tarot is a fortune telling device. Some fear the use of tarot. Some change their lives based on it. Many practitioners of other spiritualities and religions tend to discount what tarot does provide, even to the point of calling it what it is not, for example, satanism. Rest assured, tarot is none of these. I know Christians that use tarot regularly. I see tarot as a tool for the client to leverage to their benefit. While tarot does not foretell the future, it does give perspectives into what is happening now in the life of the client. Tarot highlights those perspectives and gives the client other things to consider. Tarot encourages its audiences to rethink, reconsider, and review their own thoughts and outlooks. I encourage the recipients of readings to consider the message but also how it asks you to contemplate your life’s possibilities.
